the holidays

overall they were great! E got a ton of toys (mostly from us) but we all had a great time. On our way to my parents 2nd home, we stopped off to see a college friend of mine who was in town fo the weekend and it was so nice to see her! she looks wonderful, has a great job and lives in a cool city! :)

then we headed to the house where we had our obligatory yearly flu hit - 24 hour flu. nice. well, being pregnant made this much harder than it should have been. and now the doctors think that i might have a problem w/ a hemorrhoid. Nice. I am old. Anyway, the OB nicely calld in a prescription for me and if this doesn't work, I will have to go in and get it lanced off this weekend. I am so upset. Weird crap always happens to me. Who gets a blood clot from the 24 hour flu?!?! 1/1,000,000,000 people probably and I happen to be that 1. the BEST thing was when the OB nurse asked if I could see the area and if it was purple. I just laughed. Dude. I am 6 mos pg and carrying low. You think I can contort myself to the point at which I can see that area?!? Doctors sleigh me.

so, nice hubby and my daughter are on their 40 min jaunt to the pharmacy for me to get the stupid prescription. if it doesn't work by tomorrow, off to the ob i go. :( although, i have to say one of my friends has a tooth problem - i am pretty darn sure that i would rather have this problem than a tooth problem since my fear of dentists overrides my pain level right now. (huggs kate!)

Life is good. ;)

hubby comes home tomorrow. I have been super busy getting everything ready for my clients to ship out on friday. I can't wait to be done for the holiday. My hubby has agreed with me that we need to boost our business, so we are spending time while he is off to relaunch our business. I can't wait!

I love watching my lil angel sleep. She is so peacful and has been WONDERFUL today. She has helped me so much and continues to help me as I am getting larger and bending over isn't so easy anymore. But she is always eager to come help me pick things up and put them where they need to go. God love her!

I am off to play bunco tonight - I love that mindless game. It is quite fun! :)

Sleepless in pregnancy

Yeah, this must be the point at which I become more energetic. I seem to have energy spurts at 10 pm, which is when I do most of my 'work' for my businesses and then move onto the house.

The xmas tree isn't up yet. I am wondering if I should wait until hubby gets home (which sounds great to me) or if I should brave the garage and get it myself. I am thinking that waiting is great.

On another note, E seems to think that ornaments are balls and should be thrown. I am guessin gwe will have a light tree this year. lol.

11 days and counting....can't wait!!

nothin' like arguing over a sat phone...

ugh. today was rough with em. she is cutting her molars and was OMG unbarable today. i felt horrible for her. once i figured it out, tylenol was our best friend today.

hubby called. i was overwhelmed with the amount of work we have to do for our house and then dd was crying and throwing fits and he called at the worst time, and then we argued. i hate doing that when he isn't, um, in the same hemisphere. lol. oh well, he called back and we had a better talk.

:)

I now know what kate went through.

Here I am at 11:30 pm the night before the staging lady comes over. I have toys everywhere, crap all over, folded laundry in the bathroom and my dear lil one is sleeping in her room that she demolished today.

And I feel the need to pull an all nighter to make sure the house is clean for someone who will be coming over and telling me how to rearrange my world so that it will look better/more cohesive.

Not to mention, I have another woman coming over on friday to bid cleaning my house and I have this over compulsion to go clean all toilets and scrub floors b/c I don't want her to think I am a slob (which we aren't, just a bit disorganized right now)

Sigh, Kate I sympathize with you! :)
