I think I am offended.

So my friend called yesterday to inform me that she and her boyfriend were coming out to the beer festival in october (nothing like a bit of advanced warning)

So, in that conversation, I mentioned that if she wanted to stay with us she could, and hubby and I would give up our room and sleep with the kids and they could have our room.

Her reply, "no, I don't want to stay with you, we will stay with Stacey I just want to spend quality time with you and the kids"

But just minutes before she said that she hadn't talked to Stacey in well, a year or so.

I am hurt and offended. Yes, I bitch about ILs staying with us, but that's for different reasons. I am seriously hurt.
